We are enthused about the implicit representation of Stilvi’s approach to lighting at places, where enlightenment is at stake in the conference (IN)TANGIBLE HERITAGE(S) and the respective participation of our partner fr. Michael Papanikolaou in this event with a lecture on the topic “The augmented perception paradigm of lighting in Byzantine Churches”, which rests on the related research project “Light in Worship. Investigation of the Possibilities of Harmonization of the Application of Lighting Technologies with the Orthodox Liturgical Tradition”, supervised by the School of Social Theology and Christian Culture.
